I'm Tim Adams and I've been teaching guitar for 17 years. During my professional career I've collaborated with musicians from The Cure, Mumford & Sons and The Staves and played throughout the UK and North America. Some of my former students have gone on to work with artists such as Wolf Alice and Brian Eno.
Professionally, I have played many genres but I've always had a deep love of jazz, and learning and teaching this genre has been a lifelong pursuit. I've collected all of the brilliant coaching and exercises I've learned from the excellent jazz musicians I've played with over the years in order to devise the simplest and most enjoyable approach to learning jazz improvisation on guitar.
